CREATION OF AN AMBASSADORS CIRCLE
Geneviève Marcon, a Québec businesswoman newly appointed to the Board of Directors of the Fiducie du patrimoine culturel des Augustines, has launched a strong movement of solidarity and recognition for the Augustinian Sisters by creating the Ambassadors Circle, Femmes de tête, femmes de coeur, femmes d'honneur.
In an article published in the Journal de Québec on Monday, September 15, 2014, Ms. Marcon issued the challenge of bringing together 50 women willing to contribute $1000 each and serve as ambassadors of the Monastère des Augustines project. To honour their participation, the names of these women will be etched forever on the monastery’s walls.
