A significant real estate asset: the H\u00f4tel-Dieu de Qu\u00e9bec monastery<\/h2>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The H\u00f4tel-Dieu de Qu\u00e9bec monastery is classified as a National Historic Site of Canada and recognized as a heritage site under Quebec’s Cultural Heritage Act. Enclosed by its stone walls in the heart of Old Quebec, it is the birthplace of the Augustinian Sisters’ charitable work in North America.<\/p>\n

Owned by the Fiducie, it is now known as Le Monast\u00e8re des Augustines. This place of remembrance and renewal has been open to the public since 2015. Responsible for financing, la Fiducie ensures the conservation and maintenance of this unique heritage complex. It acts in a spirit of continuity with the vocation of hospitality, care, and contemplation that has always inhabited this place.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Fiducie also owns a remarkable collection of documents and artifacts, the result of more than 375 years of the Augustinian Sisters’s presence in the health sector. This heritage consists of approximately 60,000 objects and more than one linear kilometer of archives.<\/p>\n

It is now protected thanks to the creation of a museum reserve and an archive center that meet the highest conservation standards. It is also accessible for research, education, and cultural mediation purposes. In collaboration with the Le Monast\u00e8re\u2019s specialized teams, the Fiducie actively supports the preservation and dissemination of these heritage treasures.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
