With a kilometer of archives and approximately 60,000 artifacts in its care, the Fiducie du patrimoine culturel des Augustines preserves a living memory of nearly four centuries of history. Through a museum, exhibitions, and an archives center maintained by Le Monast\u00e8re des Augustines, the Fiducie allows the public to discover the contribution of the Augustinian Sisters to Quebec’s healthcare system. True to the intentions of the Augustinian Sisters, the Fiducie offers support and respite to caregivers, nursing staff, and those accompanying patients, thanks to donations generated by its philanthropic activities. This mission of hospitality carried out by the Augustinian Sisters continues today through the services offered by Le Monast\u00e8re des Augustines. A haven of peace in the heart of Old Quebec, Le Monast\u00e8re des Augustines occupies the historic wings of the H\u00f4tel-Dieu de Qu\u00e9bec monastery. With its cultural and social mission, Le Monast\u00e8re des Augustines is the Fiducie\u2019s flagship project.<\/p>\n

As the site’s operations manager, Le Monast\u00e8re offers its guests a unique rejuvenating experience. This experience is expressed through a variety of activities and services: heritage hospitality, museum, services for caregivers and healthcare providers, cultural and wellness activities, mindful eating, boutique, massage therapy, and room rentals. All of these are gateways to an encounter with the history and values of the Augustinian Sisters.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Saint-Augustin wing<\/h3>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Fiducie and Le Monast\u00e8re are collaborating on the conversion of the Saint-Augustin wing. This wing will be vacated in the coming years following the departure of the Augustinian Sisters. As the owner of the premises, the Fiducie’s mission is to redevelop this space for a new use. It will provide Le Monast\u00e8re with the means to strengthen and expand its social and cultural missions, in line with its current vocation.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Catherine-de-Saint-Augustin Center<\/h4>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Catherine-de-Saint-Augustin Center is a place of spirituality, commemoration, and pilgrimage. Adjacent to the historic church of the H\u00f4tel-Dieu de Qu\u00e9bec monastery, it is dedicated to the memory of Marie-Catherine de Saint-Augustin, a prominent figure in Quebec’s religious history. The Fiducie du patrimoine culturel des Augustines supports its development, in accordance with the wishes expressed by the Augustinian Sisters\u2019 community.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
