DISCOVER AN ARTEFACT: 18TH CENTURY INKWELL
Heart-shaped inkwell from the 18th century with a polychrome floral design, removable inkpot in the center and holes for three quills.
This artefact was probably acquired by Monseigneur de Saint-Vallier (1653-1727), founder of the Augustinian Sisters’ monastery at l'Hôpital Général de Québec.
Collection: Hôpital Général de Québec monastery---The heritage of the Augustinian Sisters’ 12 monastery-hospitals includes a remarkable collection of 40 000 artefacts and 1 linear kilometer of old books.
